Brooks Macdonald strengthens business development with three new hires

Brooks Macdonald today announces the appointment of three experienced industry sales specialists as it invests to strengthen its business development team.

These hires demonstrate Brooks Macdonald’s ongoing commitment to attract and retain the best talent in the industry to deliver its growth ambitions.

Gary Stirrup has recently joined as National Sales Manager, responsible for UK sales with a focus on developing and growing IFA relationships. Gary has more than 20 years’ experience in investment management, starting his career at Friends Provident in 1992, and has since led high-performance sales teams at Old Mutual and, most recently, at Fidelity Funds Network.

Thomas Ball and Philip Penrose join as Business Development Managers in our East Anglia and Manchester offices respectively. Thomas joins from Prospect Wealth Management where he was most recently Head of Business Development, while Philip joins from MitonOptimal UK where he was Head of UK Sales.

The strength of Brooks Macdonald’s relationships with advisers and clients is founded on having the best people and these appointments are part of ensuring that we continue to deliver organic growth among the highest in the sector.
