Brooks Macdonald launches ‘Inclusive Futures’ to attract the next generation of wealth management talent

Available across a number of Brooks Macdonald's offices, including its flagship office in the heart of the City of London, aspiring participants can select from one of three training schemes offering skills development and the chance to work on a diverse range of interesting and challenging projects.

Brooks Macdonald’s new graduate scheme will give participants the opportunity to gain the fundamental experience and skills needed to excel in the industry. Graduates will learn about different parts of the business, develop their professional network and expand their skills and expertise. The recruitment process, developed in partnership with talent experts Zircon BeTalent, has been designed to eliminate unconscious bias, offering a robust and scientific approach to talent assessment.

Partnering for a third consecutive year with Brook Macdonald, Investment 2020 offers trainees an initial 12-month fixed-term contract where participants will gain the key skills needed to carry out their role. Trainees can also attend events hosted by Investment 2020 to build and develop their networks and wider industry knowledge.

Brooks Macdonald has also partnered with #10000blackinterns which seeks to offer 2,000 internships each year for five consecutive years, delivering internships across a range of internal business functions. Each internship offered provides invaluable experience and each training session can genuinely change an individual’s trajectory.

These are great opportunities for anyone who hasn’t considered a career in investment management. Additionally, due to the pandemic, those trying to enter the labour market for the first time over the next few years may find it difficult to do so.
