Brooks Macdonald talent recognised as 2024 PAM NextGen Leaders
Andrew Bennie, Senior Investment Director, and Nicholas Craze, Investment Director, have been recognised as one of the 2024 PAM NextGen Leaders.
The NextGen Leaders list is based on PAM Insight's experience and knowledge of who is rising to the top quickly, and why. Factors considered include the trajectory of promotion and active involvement in promoting good organisational culture.
Andrew Bennie
Having started out as a Trainee Investment Manager in October 2010, Andrew is now Investment Team Head in Manchester, driving the strategy and leadership of the region that manages nearly £1bn for advisers, private clients, charities, companies, trusts and pensions. Outside of work Andrew co-founded a young professional’s community in Manchester (Manchester Young Professionals) which has grown to become the largest professional community in Manchester. A big part of this over recent years has been the development of a Mentoring scheme and Andrew has actively mentored individuals both within and outside the Wealth Management industry.
Nicholas Craze
Nicholas joined Brooks Macdonald in 2021 as an Investment Manager from Ravenscroft Group, having risen to be a key client facing function in their Advisory business. He is currently responsible for over £150m of assets for advisers, private clients, charities, trusts and pensions and leads Brooks Macdonald’s portfolio lending capability in the UK, which he implemented and launched in 2023. Alongside his work on the investment team, Nicholas is Chairman of the Groups Charities Committee and a founding member of the Brooks Macdonald Next-Gen community, fostering relationships within the professional community. Outside of work, Nicholas is a key supporter of Alopecia UK, having both volunteered for the charity and taken part in the Snowdon Ultra Marathon Race while personally raising over £7,000 for the charity.
